Exit Game Plan is led by Carson Bomar, a Tampa business broker, and Matt Perkins, an Ohio business broker, advising founders and business owners across the United States. Carson Bomar
Carson Bomar is a Tampa business broker and mergers & acquisitions advisor who has helped founders navigate the sale of privately held companies across multiple industries. His experience as both a business owner and advisor gives him a unique seller-first perspective when guiding clients through business valuation, exit planning, and confidential sell-side representation.

Carson has been self-employed throughout his entire adult life. In his 20’s, he founded and built a physician practice management company in Florida that provided billing, collections, payroll services, software-as-a-service, and group purchasing programs to medical practices. After more than 20 years in business, he successfully sold the company through a business broker, an experience that introduced him to the world of Mergers & Acquisitions and ultimately led to his career advising other founders through their own exits.

Carson believes it is critical for sellers to work with someone who understands transactions not only from the business broker perspective, but also from the seller’s side of the table. Over the past decade he has helped guide the sale of more than 150+ businesses, providing business owners with the experience, strategy, and negotiation guidance needed to navigate complex transactions and maximize value.

Outside of M&A advisory work, Carson spent 15 seasons coaching high school football in Tampa, reaching four Final Fours and two state championship games, including the opportunity to coach his own son in two of those championship runs.

When Carson isn’t working on a deal or talking with business owners about their exit strategy, you can probably find him somewhere in the Caribbean with his toes in the sand.
Matt Perkins
Matt Perkins is an Ohio business broker and mergers & acquisitions advisor with Exit Game Plan, working with business owners across the United States to prepare, value, and successfully sell their companies. Drawing on more than 15 years of experience in corporate America, Matt developed a broad foundation working with executives from around the globe across multiple disciplines, including finance, marketing, operations, and nearly every back-office function within an organization.

That experience now allows Matt to bring a well-rounded strategic perspective to his work as a sell-side advisor, helping business owners navigate business valuation, exit planning, buyer screening, and transaction negotiations. Since entering the world of business brokerage, Matt has helped facilitate numerous transactions ranging from low six-figure deals to transactions well into the tens of millions of dollars.

Working with both buyers and sellers, Matt approaches every transaction with the understanding that each situation is unique. Some clients are founders preparing to sell a business they built from the ground up, while others are buyers seeking the right opportunity to acquire and grow a company. Matt works closely with each client to understand their goals and guide them through the M&A process with clarity, strategy, and careful attention to detail.

Outside of his work advising business owners, Matt has a passion for travel and experiencing the diversity the world has to offer. One of his personal goals is to visit every state in the United States while continuing to explore new countries and cultures around the globe. He enjoys sharing those
experiences with his wife and three children and has a growing interest in learning multiple foreign languages along the way.
